GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation)

The General Product Safety Regulation is a new EU regulation that comes into effect on 13 December 2024. Its aim is to improve the safety of consumer products on the EU market, covering all sales channels, both in-store and online. It introduces new obligations for businesses, such as product traceability, providing manufacturer contact information, clearer safety information, and extends responsibility to online sales platforms.
