What are the measurement methods?

The sensors measure the concentration of particulate matter using laser-based technology. For gaseous pollutants, one device can measure two chemical compounds using electrochemical analysis. Readings are taken from two cells installed in the sensor’s gas module. Each sensor is also equipped with a special indicator light that changes color depending on air quality, following the CAQI (Common Air Quality Index) color scale.
