If the sensor is replaced, the installationId will always change, even if it’s installed in exactly the same spot. This also applies if the original sensor is temporarily removed (e.g. for servicing) and later reinstalled in the same location. Each physical installation of a sensor gets a unique installationId.
However, the locationId will remain the same as long as the new or reinstalled sensor is placed at the same location.
